Meet Shannon: Our Local Golden Girl, Gypsy Soul, Reality TV Star & all-round Free Spirit

We had the absolute privilege of collaborating with the delightful Shannon Baff, known for her gypsy free, happy go-lucky spirit and of course, her stint on Australia's Reality TV shows The Bachelor Season 2018 and Bachelor in Paradise 2019.

Come along as we sit down with Shannon and delve into her wanderlust life with Sunny (who's Sunny you say ... read and you'll find out ;) x

 

Firstly, Give us a little intro as to who you are and where you are from ..... 

My name is Shannon, best known as Baffy. I was born in Adelaide and have managed to live in 4 states in Aus since my short 29 years of life.

I consider myself a gypsy spirit, I live my life freely, openly and value all the beautiful things this world has to offer. 

 

Describe your personal style.

My personal style is very bohemian, I love tassels, everything flowing and earthy tones.

 

What's something about you that surprises people when you tell them?

I was on a TV show..haha. A lot of people don’t expect it because I don’t really present myself as that. I love my humble life. 

 

What's your ultimate weekend consist of?

Taking my van away (Sunny), being fully present in nature and being open to all the experiences that come my way.

 

Best and worst part of the bachy experience?

My best bachy experience would be all of the different emotions learnt within myself, it was a whole new world of feelings. 

My worst would be the drama, I had never really experienced much of it until then.. I’m a bit of a tomboy at heart.

 

You recently shared your gorgeous gypsy van - what's one place you're looking forward to exploring?

My goal is to take Sunny through the whole west coast. Once I have done that, I can successfully say I have done the lap of Australia. 

Do you believe everyone has a twin flame/soul mate?

I do, hence my patience with being single for 5 years..haha. I’m not looking for it, I am waiting for it. He is around…

 

You're always looking so naturally bright and glowing - what is your one beauty essential you can't live without?

My beauty essential is to live a happy life, my glow comes from within..I would be lying if I said I were consistent on my products..haha. Whoops.

 

Would you rather have a time machine or teleporter?

Definitely a teleporter, it would be unreal to zap myself over to a different country.

 

What's your favourite Mahiya piece and why? 

I love everything in store, the designs are gorgeous, and the quality is amazing.

I have been wearing my leather backpack everywhere and getting lots of compliments, anything I have Mahiya always draws people's attention.
